The Cardiothoracic Surgery administrative support staff emphasize in creating a customer friendly environment, to enhance a sense of customer service for the patients, family, and the outside referring physicians. A patient satisfaction survey was introduced to the ongoing quality improvement initiatives, because we value our customers’ opinions and hence forth allows us to improve on our current performance. From October to December 2007, we have collected our initial data from 86 patients, who had returned for their post-operative visits.
